Eating Disorder Recovery, Medical Control, & Reclaiming Health

Patrick Alexander, vegan turned carnivore, describes himself as a functional health coach, and that’s an apt title for a man who works diligently to spread the message of true health and healing. I’m grateful for all members of the carnivore community who continue to research and share knowledge and provide encouragement for each human - no matter where they are on their health journey.

During this podcast, we compared the “mainstream” advice on eating disorders with what actually worked for me. It’s not ancestrally appropriate to force someone with an eating disorder to eat processed food six times a day - while calling that “eating in moderation.” Rather, the body must be nourished properly with fatty meat in order to heal and allow the brain to be receptive to therapy.
